Who's Chinese

China is the most populous country in the world. About one in every five people in the world lives in China. This population, however, is unevenly distributed. They are densely populated along the east coast while sparsely populated on the plateaus in the west. Most of the people in China are Han Chinese, but there are also 55 other ethnic groups. The Zhuang, Bai, Dai, Tibetans, and Mongolians are just a few. Some Chinese have moved to other regions and countries, such as Taiwan, Singapore and the United States. They are called Overseas Chinese.
